Earthquake
Was that an earthquake I just felt that shook the house just now? Anyone else feel it? How often are we meant to get these things in Leamington?
Answers on a postcard, or alternatively a blog comment (or if you really want to be awkward, a facebook comment).

I've experienced 3 very minor earthquakes in Britain, in my 34 years. Once in Aberystwyth, twice in Leamington.
So, about once every 11 years, on average, I guess is the answer!
Same here pretty much. I remember feeling one in Bristol in 1990 during the day. Then I've felt three since I moved to Leamington (i.e. in the last ten years), including Wednesday's, strangely all at night. After the second one, my wife said, "you didn't tell me we were moving to an earthquake zone." :)
Somehow Wednesday's felt a bit more scary than the last two, although in each case I guessed what it was because I'd felt it before. The first time I felt one (in Bristol) I had no idea and only found out what it was a day or two later.
Exciting stuff, huh?
