Audio Terrorism
Nipped to Warwick Gates Co-Op to get lunch today. On approaching the shop I was greeted by a screech of terror. No-one was hurt, no this instead apparently a teenage deterrent. Well to me, it is pure audio terrorism, and something I hope does not appear outside other shops. I just hope it hasn't done any lasting damage to my ears!

Teenage deterrant? That's an abhorrent concept in itself. "We don't want young people here." What on earth?
Besides, as you say, it's unpleasant to everyone. If they really want to deter teenagers specifically, then I know a lot of churches that do the job far better ;)
