A few Haiku

Goodbye dear Nikki,
It wasn't to last for long;
Hope your future's bright.

Poetry was your love,
To relieve the strains inside,
And to start anew.

Although slightly mad,
Your presence made office glad,
So now we are sad.

Go on to great things,
It was your leaving remark.
You deserves this too!

And oh our dear old martin thankyou,
for the office was not a good suiter,
and left me drowning in waves.

For although the rays shone so bright,
the cruel clouds stiffled their glow
and left me pleading for the light.

So I'll bid you the saddest farewell,
For too many friends are left behind,
their still holding my future to dwell.

So please leave my soul here to rest,
"A memory, a colleague, a friend?"
I whisper but with a glimer of jest.
